MINI VET
Campers will be introduced to veterinary medicine, learn all about what it takes to be a vet, and what you need to take in school.
For those who want to be a vet one day, or have a keen interest in working in the veterinary field. The Pawsitively Pets Mini Vet Camp has a three-level hands-on program to walk kids through the key aspects of veterinary medicine, and the daily life working in an animal hospital.
Campers will be introduced to veterinary medicine, learn all about what it takes to be a vet, and what you need to take in school. In addition to getting certified in Pet First Aid, participants will have the chance to work in the vet clinic, learn how to give injections, watch a surgery, complete a full pet wellness exam, and learn all the techniques to do their own surgery on a banana! Our hands-on banana surgery will include operating on the banana, and complete suturing. Campers will learn the basics of radiology, parisitology, large animal veterinary medicine, and have the opportunity to work on their own "medical case."

Fees:
Campers may be enrolled for one or more weeks. Please note a 10% discount is available to those who register and pay in full prior to April 15th, 2010. A discount of 10% applies to any additional sessions registered for.
If you are registering online full payment is due at the time of registration. Our online payment application does not accept deposits. If you would like to make a deposit for your camp session, you must request a registration form be mailed to you and pay by cheque. A $300 deposit (per camper/per session) is required at the time of registration. Balance of payment is due one month prior to camp date.
